Salome Poster Designs
Poster designs based on an excerpt from the play Salome.
Visually displaying the themes within the play that explore a dark, twisted tragedy hidden behind a seemingly innocent and beautiful character.
I combined the soft element of lace to adorn the edges of the page, contextually fitting in with the era the play was written in the late 1800s, concealing the dagger in the centre, visually communicating the symbolism in the play.

Exploring Neo-Paganism through film
This project was the beginning of my experimentation with illustration within digital design. I chose figures within both films that represent the themes explored within them, developing, experimenting and repeating them in Photoshop to give them a new look and experience.

The Earth Arcana
This project allowed me to develop my illustrations further by expanding the content into 22 botanical Tarot cards as well as the packaging design.
This project made me think critically about my designs and everything was done with an intention behind it. The designs were no longer just about what is most visually appealing, but the symbolic meaning attached to them so that my design was a representation of contemporary spiritual ideology.

THE NORTHERN FILM SCHOOL Project
Working with the NORTHERN FILM SCHOOL gave insight into life as a professional designer, conferring with the group to ensure my designs fit the criteria and represented their film effectively.

This project allowed me to step away from my personal design style and habits, creating a range of promotional posters in a range of shades allowing them to be placed in different contexts and giving the team the freedom to choose their favourite.

Hello - Logo Design
I chose to create a logo to introduce myself to the Graphic Design industry, combining typography and iconography to create a simple yet dynamic design that can be placed in different contexts, colours and sizes.

Taking inspiration from the logos I researched, I feel this design represents me as a creative by using my initials alongside a simple, playful icon that displays the style of work I aim to create.
